Click the Add/Remove Newsgroups command under the Tools menu to open the group list editor.

To remove an entire virtual group, select it in the top pane and click the Delete button.

To remove one or more newsgroups, open the virtual group that contains it by double-clicking in the top pane, select one or more newsgroups and click the Delete button.
