Force Download always overwrites existing file

I normally have the history turned on, both filenames and Message IDs. Thus if I want to download a file whose filename is already in history I must use "Force Download (Ignore History)".

The problem is that in such a case the Files tab setting "If A Downloaded File Already Exists -> Rename New File" is ignored, and any existing file is simply replaced.

I am using build 1229 of 1.93, though I first noticed it in build 1072. I can work around it by turning off file history (so I don't need to force the download) but then I lose the advantages of the history file. Is this intended (did someone request this behavior)? If so I can live with it, but it seems strange.

It's an intentional part of "Force Download."
