can only see 8 download threads

even though i options its configured to be 10. Wondering if this is a limit in BB or in my newsgroups server. (I have an account which allows me to do 10 at a time so i don't think its the usenet server)

If it is a limit within BB is it possible to start another isntance?

Binary Boy does a maximum of 9. 1 for subjects and 8 for downloads.

thank you. So it is not possible to do 2 instances either? Is there a reason for max of 9??

I also had another question for you:

Is there a way for BB to go through all the groups and download headers before it begins downloading. Right now. once it finds headers in groups A it won't move on to group B before it finishes downloading all the subjects in the present group. The only way is to advance it manually?

There's no low level reason why BB couldn't access more. It's mainly a limitation of the GUI. Eventually there will be no limits. You can run a second instance from the Start | Run window like this: binboy.exe -multi
